WHY in American movies does the loud, ear bleeding action suddenly stop so that two characters can have a heart-to-heart chat? i.e. War of the Worlds. Tom Cruise and his son stop on a BATTLEFIELD of all places with bombs dropping and aliens kicking s**t out of everyone. Then everything stops around them and they have the whole "I love u son" chat. Bloody stupid! They'd have been legging it!

ITS ALL JUST A LOAD OF RUBBISH - The rubbish gestapo are at it again! Got a letter in the post saying "You have put the sort of rubbish in your bins. If you do it again, you will be fined" - I remember the good ol'days when dustmen who were helpful, particularly in the two weeks before Christmas I do recall!!
