I used to be a not bad swimmer when I was a kid - school team and county by 14. But at 5'9" and stumpy legs no matter how hard I trained there was no way that I could take on 6 foot eels who left me for dead. I could live with it and no one cared anyway. Today the world is up in arms over "doggy" swimsuits. What's the difference beteeen these and a 6'4" Phelps with hands and feet like shovels!

Okay; so i now live in bournemouth, originally from Liverpool. Explain to me WHY Manchester United are so popular down here on the south coast!? All i see in shopping centres are posters saying "get your new manchester united kit here". Manchester is like 270 miles away! France is closer than that for f**'s sake!! Stupid bloody glory hunting southerners!!! Support your home team: YOU MAKE ME SICK!

I hate cricket so much it makes me want to cry. Why can't they just get rid of the worst sport ever? Nothing happens in it. Ever.

Flintoff is past his sell by date has been dropped because his knee is knackered. Welcome to the real world Freddie! The Aussies must be rubbing their hands with glee.

First it is Flintoff being dragged back from the knackers yard and now we have the prospect of "Strictly" Ramprakash to look forward to. The Aussies must be rubbing their hands with delight.

Here we go again, wall to wall football for the next ten months. There are so many other sports that deserve better exposure, where the sportsmen/women are brillient and just love to compete.

I think it is completely scandalous that professional footballers are bought and sold for the staggering amounts of money that is going around at present. Given that most mere mortals are glad enough to simply have a roof over their heads in the current economic climate it s also immoral. Given their behavior on and off the pitch and their media exposure, they must be the lowest of the low.
